SEPI - Award Winners
of the year 2008
The winner of the dissertation award
2008 is Jessica Sandham Swope (Catholic University of
America). As no proposals had been made, there will be no
young researcher award this year.
In 2007, SEPI has begun to award
outstanding dissertation projects as well as achievements of
more advanced young researchers. The winners in 2007
are: SEPI Dissertation Award: Catherine Eubanks-Carter
(Stony Brook University) SEPI Young Researcher Award: Mike
Constantino (U Mass at Amherst).
The rules are that the winner of the
dissertation award presents her/his work at the SEPI
conference following the completion of the dissertation, while
the winner of the young researcher award presents at the SEPI
conference following the election for the award. These will be
occasions to get acquainted with their work. Both winners of
the 2007 awards will present at the 2008 Boston conference.
Please be aware that the deadline
for nominations 2010 is February 1st, 2010. Every SEPI member is entitled to
nominate a person falling in one of the categories. The rules
